Maryanne originates from Cape Town, South Africa. She was educated in Switzerland as well as Rhodes University and speaks three languages. 

Maryanne grew up on a farm and absolutely loves animals. She often teases that the real reason she is in real estate is so that she can meet people's pets. Maryanne is an equestrian, competing in nationals for dressage. Her family also created an animal sanctuary for the SPCA.
